High-yielding dairy cows typically experience a negative energy balance postpartum as the amount of energy required for maintenance and milk production exceeds the amount of energy that the cow ingests. Supplementing early lactation cows with Endulac® CLA allows for a temporary, dose-dependent milk fat reduction to optimise energy balance, reduce body fat mobilisation, and stabilise the metabolic status of fresh cows. This results in improved production, body condition and fertility of dairy cows.
